Newborn Pictures: Twins

Yes, I’m a little late posting these, but that seems to be my life these days :) These were taken by the talented Kassie Crapo, when the twins were exactly one month old. It was a little later than usual due to Cruiz staying in the NICU for three weeks. These two boys were a little difficult, being a month old, they didn’t sleep much, and Cannon was very aware of what was going on. But nonetheless, I love them, and am already a little sad that they’ve tripled in size, and miss the hair they had left in these pictures. I kind of liked having boys with dark hair, it’s now coming in blonde, just like their older siblings.

Enjoy!

Twin Newborn Photography

I had to throw this one in, I’m usually the one behind the camera, but this is how we sat for weeks, all cuddled together, looking exhausted. Cruiz is on the left, Cannon on the right. (Took me a minute to figure it out)

Thanks Kass we love them.

Beautiful, beautiful pictures. Simply beautiful! You find the best photographers! One quick trick for always being able to tell twins apart in old pictures is to always dress the one that comes first alphabetically in the color that comes first alphabetically. Then years later you can see who is who. For example if you had two outfits (or ties) and one was blue and one was green, Cannon would be in the blue, and Cruiz would be in the green. Or if the colors were black and blue, Cannon would be in black and Cruiz would be in blue. Saves me often when looking at old pics. ;) My SIL always dressed the twins with that code when they were little. Also helped them with their separate identities because family members didn't have to guess who was who and I'm sure they felt more secure thinking that Gma or Gpa always knew who was who (whether they really knew it or not). Wish the twinners would do it now, but they're just too independent at 15!

Beautiful pics! After attempting to take newborn pics for my sisters, I have a new found admiration for people who do this for a living! It is tough work to get them to turn out as wonderful as yours did. Congrats!

I know we don't know each other, but I have been reading your blog for 2 hours now, and I want to say I am so, so happy for you. From one new mom to another, you have such a sweet spirit, and I wish we lived closer so I could take you to lunch.

Hi, we're the Sullengers! Life turned upside down for us in 2010 when we lost our daughter in an accidental drowning. Since then, we've documented our highs (life with all five of our kids) and our lows (struggles with grief) but amongst everthing we've experienced, we know as long as we hold on to one another we can get through anything that comes our way.
