20 Weeks Pregnant with Twins

I’ve reached 20 weeks, which hopefully means I’m more than half way done with this pregnancy!
At this appointment they measure everything they can using the ultrasound machine. We looked at their hearts, brains, limbs, everything we could get a glimpse of. Measuring two babies sure does take awhile, but I love getting to see these two every month!
Baby A – Still very active, made it difficult to get measurements and pictures. We spent most of the time on you (Like always), and struggled getting a 3D profile picture.

Baby B – You were laying on your side with your arm covering your face. It was difficult to get you to shift, just like last time. In the end you cooperated.

Both boys looked great on everything, and are measuring in the high 60th percentile in both height and weight - above average. Dr. M was thrilled!
Sorry if 3D pictures freak you out, but I love this shot. I couldn’t figure out why I kept looking at it over and over again, then I realized it’s the first time I’ve seen 2 of my kids in the same picture... They certainly are crammed in there aren’t they?
We certainly are so blessed with these twins!

That is the most amazing thing I've seen in a long time! They'll probably want to cuddle together after they're born. Best wishes!

Wow, I can't even imagine having two inside! Are you able to tell which one is kicking or does it just feel like a big mass of kicks?

I agree....simply amazing. I loved seeing the 3D pictures of my little grandson in utero. It somehow made it seem so real and made me all the more excited to see him and hold him. Those two boys + Ledger are going to be such fun. You take good care of yourself and those babies. Don't overdue it and keep smiling!!!

They are so precious already! So glad they are both growing well for you. I'm impressed and amazed when people are able to grow above average babies - and you're growing two of them at the same time! (All 3 of mine have always been in the 5-10th percentiles). I hope you're still feeling good and I'm praying that you're more than halfway there. What wonderful pictures, and to me they are fabulous, not freaky at all!

If they can touch, does that mean that they are in the same sack, and therefore, identical twins?

Hi, we're the Sullengers! Life turned upside down for us in 2010 when we lost our daughter in an accidental drowning. Since then, we've documented our highs (life with all five of our kids) and our lows (struggles with grief) but amongst everthing we've experienced, we know as long as we hold on to one another we can get through anything that comes our way.
