Home Ledger Patrick Pog Eight Months

Eight Months

This kiddo took off crawling and never looked back. Now, a week later, he's pulling himself up on every piece of furniture he can get his little hands on, and walking along it. And when he wants to get down, he practically dives, which often leads to a major bonk on his head. Oh well, it hasn't stopped him yet.

He loves that he can now reach and torment Pog.
I took these pictures in order, Ledger tried to eat her ear, and the look on Pog's face is a classic, "Get this kid out of my face!"

Yesterday, I found Ledger triumphantly on the floor sucking on a piece of dog food... which made me gag as I dug it out of his mouth. He was lovin' it, just like his older sister did. This means Pog is back to a restricted feeding schedule when Ledger is asleep.

My happy baby returned yesterday after a long week of teething. His 7th tooth cut through, and is now back to two naps a day. His teeth are coming in so fast!

Ledger's first time sitting up in the tub. I'm surprised he never tried sitting up before a couple of days ago.

I ran to the store one evening, and I received this picture from Pat, saying "Hi Mom!" Ledger certainly loves when Dad plays with him.

These past 8 months have flown by, he's going to be a year old before we know it!

Ok that is the funniest thing ever him trying to eat Pog's ear! :) We had to move the cat food up on the cabinet in the laundry room when Meg and Parker were little because they would eat it too - yuck!

Hi Ashley... I've been following your blog for a little while, and it makes my heart sing that you get to enjoy this little guy every day! I am a mom of four, and having a bit of a tough time with my oldest son turning 18 and graduating this year... It is true what they say that the days drag on but the years fly by!

Pog's expression is priceless. Poor Pog! But Ledger is the cutest little boy and looks like he is full of personality. I can't wait to hear more Ledger stories as he grows and walks and keeps Mom and Dad on alert! Thanks for sharing your sweet boy.

    Ashley,
I just came across your blog for the first time and read your story. Your little Preslee Jo was just breathtaking. Beautiful.

I'm so glad God gave you your little Ledger. I bet he has helped your heart so much!

I lost a little girl, Maddie Grace at 2 days old. Exactly 11 months later, God gave me my Jonah Asher. =) He has sure helped me too.

You are beautiful. Thank you for sharing your story and for helping so many.

    Many Blessings,
    Natalie Ross

Hi, we're the Sullengers! Life turned upside down for us in 2010 when we lost our daughter in an accidental drowning. Since then, we've documented our highs (life with all five of our kids) and our lows (struggles with grief) but amongst everthing we've experienced, we know as long as we hold on to one another we can get through anything that comes our way.
