Thank You

I just wanted to thank you all again for donating to the Pay It Forward Project back in December. We've received some very touching e-mails from parents thanking us for the bags. We know it wouldn't have been possible without all of you.

We've taken so many boxes to PCMC, and there's a little more than half (so about 150 left) to be delivered in the future. We thank you with all of our hearts, we know you've made a difference for those staying at PCMC.

Love,
The Sullengers

I woke early this morning and God laid you on my heart. I prayed for you today - for strength, for guidance and for that new little baby. Just thinking of Preslee today made my own heart hurt and yet I didn't know her; I know that you carry that hurt with you daily. I pray that God uplifts you in a special way today and gives you grace to face each step you walk. As always, thank you for sharing through your blog. It touches so many people.

My cousin lost her first baby hours after he was born. Your stories are different, but the loss is the same. She just started a new blog for families who have lost children. I hope it's a place you'll find joy and comfort-- http://joy-cometh-in-the-morning.blogspot.com/

My husband and I received a pay it forward bag when we were at PCMC for 3 wks with our little guy. We were so grateful with how thoughtful all the things that were in it. Those days were so difficult for us and when we packed to head down there we both forgot lots of things. We felt very alone and didn't know hardly anybody in SLC. I was comforted to find out the bags were from Rexburg because I have worked for the school district there for the past 7 years. We felt like people from home were thinking of us. Your Preslee is definitely proud of you guys and all that you have done.

    Ashley,
I was driving into Rexburg yesterday and listening to 91.5 that I love listening to and listened to Elder Claudio Costa's talk from conference a year or two ago titled, "Don't Wait for Tomorrow, What You can Do Today". It was so applicable to me and I had been thinking of you and Pat and little Preslee yesterday so I thought that may help you! It was an inspiration to me! It is one of my favorite talks of all time! Hope you are feeling well! Only a few weeks left of student teaching and homework...CONGRATULATION! I am so happy for you! Have a good day!

I just wanted to make a little comment about your project. My niece Kendra (you know here from blogs) did a project "Baby Leggins" in honor of Kenzie. My other niece had to take her little baby girl to PCMC last month. Low and behold, my niece was handed a package (that many of us in our family helped make and put together for the project)of baby leggins. It was very special to see that happen, especially for our family. You will never know the lives you will and have already touched with YOUR project to honor your beautiful daughter. Lives will be better and comfort given at a time of need. Kudos to you and everyone who took the time to help, whether they donated items or funds or helped assemble the bags for your project. You are an amazing young women who has changed lives. Thank you.

You don't know me, but I stumbled on your blog from a link off of sugardoodle.net the other day, and an hour later I looked at the clock with tears streaming down my face and wondered where the time had gone. Your story touched me, and I feel such a desire to cherish each moment I have with my own little ones. You seem to have such a good perspective and strength. Thank you for your words. I pray you will continue to find strength and comfort.

Hi, we're the Sullengers! Life turned upside down for us in 2010 when we lost our daughter in an accidental drowning. Since then, we've documented our highs (life with all five of our kids) and our lows (struggles with grief) but amongst everthing we've experienced, we know as long as we hold on to one another we can get through anything that comes our way.
