Home Ashley Her Family Patrick Preslee The accident Sunday night update

Sunday night update

Hi all. It's been a tense night for little Preslee. She scared everyone when her heart rate dropped too low. She is doing better now but it will be a long night. From what Pat and Ashley have heard, 48 hours is the hardest time on little Preslee's brain and the swelling. Please pray for the family for strength and for Preslee to fight through this night. There have been so many miracles throughout this whole ordeal and I will share a few with you all when I do updates. Preslee has no scratches or cuts or bruises on her little body. Anyone who has been in a canal knows how amazing that is. Miracles happen everyday. She is our miracle girl.

Love you guys, Aunt Nic.

    Pat and Ash,

I don't have the words to capture my emotions. I am so grateful for you! May God bless you for your faith... I can't imagine what you are experiencing. I want you to know that I love you both, and I am praying and fasting and praying and fasting. I know that God is answering our prayers as we pray for you and Preslee.

I can sense your faith and strength. Your example fills my heart with feelings that I can't convey. Again good brother..., I love you very much. Ashley, may God bless your tender heart and continue to strengthen your faith; I love you too. Most of all, thank you for your faith.

    Your brother,

    Jon Skalski

I (and we) continue to pray for our whole family. Speaking to family members that are far from me; please know that I love you.

Ashley, I know that many people may have already said some of this to you, but I want you to know what is in my heart, so I'll say it anyway...
You are so LOVED, you are so STRONG, you are such an inspiration, you are the definition of BEAUTIFUl. My heart has ached all day for you and Pat and your sweet precious little Preslee. Everytime I start to think about your little family I can't quite stop the tears from coming. When I found out what had happened this morning I got on my knees and prayed, started fasting for you and your family and wept. Ashley I love you and I know that whatever happens God will take care of your angel girl Preslee, His very own daughter and,...you.

This is Brittany Rammell by the way (your long-lost "Big" sis)

    Patrick and Ashley,

You don't know me, but my sister-in-law found your blog and sent me the link. I am so sorry to hear about your sweet Preslee.

Our son Mason also spent too much time there at PCMC in the PICU and as you may already know, you are in the very best of hands. Your little family is in our thoughts and prayers as Preslee fights for her life.

The best piece of advise we got was to plaster her little space with photos of her before. People seem to respond differently when they see them. :-)

Prayers and love from a stranger!

    Michelle

Hi, we're the Sullengers! Life turned upside down for us in 2010 when we lost our daughter in an accidental drowning. Since then, we've documented our highs (life with all five of our kids) and our lows (struggles with grief) but amongst everthing we've experienced, we know as long as we hold on to one another we can get through anything that comes our way.
