Monday morning update

Hi all. Preslee is such a fighter. I talked to Trent (Ashley's dad) and there were no more issues with her heart last night. She isn't moving as much as she was yesterday but that is most likely due to the brain swelling. She still opens her eyes and looks at them though. It is still the waiting game...she just needs time to fight and heal. Miracle for today: The angel hero that pulled Preslee out of the water knew infant CPR and knew to start it immediately and didn't ever give up on little Preslee. We will be forever grateful to him and his brother.

Love, Aunt Nic

Miracles do happen every day... I know there are angels from the other side filling Preslee's room. Continued prayers come from California, Washington, Hawaii, and the Beckstrand's!

So happy to hear that she's still fighting. It shows how much she loves her family. Her holding her little necklace is so precious. We will continue to pray here at the Lochridge house. I hope she can meet our little granddaughter, Elli, some day.

Patrick & Ashley, I found out about little Preslee through a comment on our family blog. We were at Primary Children's 5 months ago going through the same feelings of fear and unsureness that you guys are going through. My heart aches for you guys knowing exactly what it is like to be there. You are in the very best hospital in the world for children. Know that our family is praying for you and one other family there at PCMC in the same situation we were in. We know that with the help of PCMC and our Heavenly Father, little Preslee will be ok. The medical treatments and care they give are top notch. We want to make sure you know there are amazing people from all over who will be praying for Preslee and your family, people you don't even know. We pray for the same miracle to happen to Preslee that happened to our Bronson. Through faith, medical care and Heavenly Father's will, Preslee will be ok. She is so beautiful. We love you guys because of the like situation bond we share. Matt Staker

Our family has been emotionally and spiritually vested with your family and especially little Preslee since Michael called us...the call where you know something terrible has happened. We have put her name in the Bountiful Temple, prayed, and fasted for her full recovery. It is heartening to learn of each little positive event. Miracles do happen, one is to watch "Pray-ers" added literally by the minute. We wish you the miracle of a full recovery.

I just happened across your blog from a reference at the Idea Room blog where they are letting others like myself know that prayers and help are needed for your little family. May Heavenly Father's arms encircle you and your little Preslee and may you feel of his love. I wanted to share another blog that may help you as this family went thru a similar circumstance with their little boy and it may be a comfort to you, the site is: http://stakerzxposed.blogspot.com
I truly hope this brings you hope and comfort. You are in my prayers.

& the guys when they were shopping for food for their campout! She knows how much you both love her!

Hi, we're the Sullengers! Life turned upside down for us in 2010 when we lost our daughter in an accidental drowning. Since then, we've documented our highs (life with all five of our kids) and our lows (struggles with grief) but amongst everthing we've experienced, we know as long as we hold on to one another we can get through anything that comes our way.
