Home Preslee The accident She's a FIGHTER

She's a FIGHTER

We have been overwhelmed with the love and kindness we have been shown at this extremely difficult time in our lives. We cannot express enough gratitude for the love that has been shown to us. Between facebook and our phones we have heard from so many of you. We wish we could respond to all of you, but all of our energy is centered on Preslee.

We have witnessed many miracles and she is still holding on. At this point they say they don't know if she'll make it, and if she does she probably will suffer from severe brain damage. Pat and I know it's because of all the prayers and the fasting that we have been able to stay strong. We hope God continues to show mercy on our little girl and grant a few more miracles.

We have a long road ahead, and we would appreciate any prayers or fasting on behalf of our little girl. She's fighting, and it's the most difficult thing a parent can watch. We just wanted to thank you, because we know you have made the difference for us here at Primary Children's Hospital. All the while in her right hand she's holding her necklace :) We know it's in the Lord's hands from here, and feel a great amount of peace. We love you monkey, hang in there!

Ash, Along with the millions of emails, texts and comments, I want to tell you that after our long talk at Girls camp about my soap-opera-life, I walked away wondering why in the world I went into so much detail.... Now I know why. If it is any consolation, remember my story? The doctors told us the very same thing and look what a blessing and the Lord's will did for my friend. Hang in there, Heavenly Father knows what He is doing. Love you Ash!

Hi, we're the Sullengers! Life turned upside down for us in 2010 when we lost our daughter in an accidental drowning. Since then, we've documented our highs (life with all five of our kids) and our lows (struggles with grief) but amongst everthing we've experienced, we know as long as we hold on to one another we can get through anything that comes our way.
