My husband returns home in a few days after a year long absence from our family. He was in Afghanistan. He missed so much with our children, 6 and 3 now. I would read your blog and realize how lucky I was in spite of his absence...I have a 22 year old and then had my girls later in life. Most amazing news I have read in a long time! I am a mother of twins and I can relate to the total shock of finding out for the first time! I will say that having twins has been truly the greatest blessing of my life. It is the best way to grow up and they are truly amazing! By the way I also had a two year old boy, and a five year old girl at the time of their birth! It may have been busy but it was truly the greatest blessing of my life! I have followed your blog since day one! God is SO good!

My 3rd pregnancy was spontanous TWINS as well. My husband reacted the same way when I showed him the ultrasound (I was in tears and stayed there for the entire 9 months). I was so scared and overwhelmed at the thought but I tell you that having twins has been the coolest experience. I just love it.
My pregnancy was completely uncomplicated and I delivered them both naturally full term (both at 6 pounds). I know that this is a different experience for you being that it's after losing Pres but I imagine it's still a little overwhelming. I'm here if you need ANYTHING!

Hey Congratulations! I read your blog all the time...I had twins when my first little guy was two. My little guy was not even 18 mths when we found out we were having twins and I was freaked out. It has been a great experience (Oldest is now almost 7, twins almost 5 and I have a 9 month old) So happy for you. Hey I was even able to nurse the little ones for a year :) you are going to do awesome! I was even an elementary teacher too, we have a lot in common! Oh my goodness! Congrats! I experienced that shock about a year and a half ago...it is seriously a crazy feeling. We unfortunately lost one of the babies however but ended up with a beautiful baby boy who is now 9 months. I hope your pregnancy goes well. I'm excited to see those babies!!!

Wow, how wonderful, congratulations, Twins!. I am a twin and my sis in law is due in March with twins. Oh how wonderful, God Bless you, your hubby and little Ledger.

ReplyDeleteMy 3rd pregnancy was spontanous TWINS as well. My husband reacted the same way when I showed him the ultrasound (I was in tears and stayed there for the entire 9 months). I was so scared and overwhelmed at the thought but I tell you that having twins has been the coolest experience. I just love it.
ReplyDeleteMy pregnancy was completely uncomplicated and I delivered them both naturally full term (both at 6 pounds). I know that this is a different experience for you being that it's after losing Pres but I imagine it's still a little overwhelming. I'm here if you need ANYTHING!

I come from a family of so many twins and I babysit twins (who just turned 1)- they are incredible and the bond that they will have with each other is indescribable. My little guy was not even 18 mths when we found out we were having twins and I was freaked out. It has been a great experience (Oldest is now almost 7, twins almost 5 and I have a 9 month old) So happy for you. Hey I was even able to nurse the little ones for a year :) you are going to do awesome! I was even an elementary teacher too, we have a lot in common! Good luck and thanks for sharing your life story, you are inspiring!

We unfortunately lost one of the babies however but ended up with a beautiful baby boy who is now 9 months. I hope your pregnancy goes well. I'm excited to see those babies!!!
