Who asks that? I mean, really? I'm shocked. Show some respect and compassion.

I don't have strong enough words for the asker of the heartless and rude question. Ashley, I hope you didn't even give them the benefit of reading it twice. I hope I can one day be half the mother and wife that you are! Thank you for sharing your story, making your self vulnerable, and strengthening many many testimonies. Much love to you and your sweet little family!

Such a great cause. I've been following Rio's blog since you posted about it. Thank you for all you do, such a great example. You are truly inspiring.

Very rude to ask where they were when the ACCIDENT happened to their daughter. Please have some compassion for this lovely couple. Losing someone, especially a child, is hard enough without having people question them.

I bet if you, anonymous, have any children you have left them a time or two to have some time to yourself.

Ashley, I am so sorry that you put yourself out there only to have people say things that could make this recovery even harder. I think you are absolutely amazing and extremely brave for all that you have done. Don't let the comment bother you, please. We all love you and think you are an amazing mom and person!!
PS. I, too, would go to Zumba if I lived closer!! Good Luck with it!

Hi, we're the Sullengers! Life turned upside down for us in 2010 when we lost our daughter in an accidental drowning. Since then, we've documented our highs (life with all five of our kids) and our lows (struggles with grief) but amongst everthing we've experienced, we know as long as we hold on to one another we can get through anything that comes our way.
