Pillow Thought

I was invited to be a guest blogger on

Pillow Thought

I definitely look forward to reading her daily updates.
Talk about creative.

So when she invited me to be part of her "Thursday's Tips" I was excited.

Ashley, you and your writing are amazing. And your advice you posted over at pillow thought was great! Every time I see the pictures you post of your little girl I start crying. Sometimes as a mom, I think I find myself getting frustrated or wishing the day was over and my kids were in bed so that I can finally getting things done around the house. My little girl will be 3 soon and I have an 8 month old little boy and needless to say sometimes days at home are quite busy and tiring. Whenever I read your blog, I am reminded at how important it is to appreciate and cherish the moments, big and small, to take a step back and capture and take in the moments. To also be grateful I have these moments and not take them for granted. Thank you for your faith, your example, and your advice. You and your family continue to touch and change people's lives and perspectives. You are an incredible mom, both your kids are extremely lucky.

Great ideas, what a beautiful post. My cousin lost her son in 2005. They live rural Idaho and he ran in front of the car as his dad pulled out. I love the pictures she shares of him of FB. I definately will take more.

Thanks for sharing Ashley. I want you to know that your experience with Preslee has effected me so much. I told Chase that whenever Charlotte is getting on my nerves and I'm losing patience with her, Preslee pops into my head and it helps me be so much more kind and loving. He told me that the same thing actually happens to him too. I also find a lot of my motivation to blog and journal from your advice. I feel like I try to live in the moment and enjoy all the little things as a mother because of your family. It is probably not always easy to share your thoughts and feelings but it has really helped me. So thank you.

Hi, we're the Sullengers! Life turned upside down for us in 2010 when we lost our daughter in an accidental drowning. Since then, we've documented our highs (life with all five of our kids) and our lows (struggles with grief) but amongst everthing we've experienced, we know as long as we hold on to one another we can get through anything that comes our way.
