Broken Trees

So this weekend while we were up in Driggs at Ash's grandparents cabin, they started flashing warning signs at the bottom of the screen during conference saying not to leave your homes in Jefferson and Bonneville county's due to trees falling over. So we didn't think much of it and tried to enjoy the rest of our conference weekend. Well on Sunday when we got back, half of our huge Walnut tree in the front yard was laying on the lawn. It snowed so heavy and so wet that it broke trees all over town. So on Monday Ashley's Dad and little brother and his friend helped us clean up the mess and chop up the fallen down tree. Kinda crappy cause we liked that tree, but after we were done it didn't look too bad. Just a little less shade then we are used too. Here are some pic's of our devastated tree.

Hey Patrick, at least now it doesn't feel so much like you are walking through a "dang" tunnel to get to the front door. I know one person who would probably want to cut some more branches off.

Hi, we're the Sullengers! Life turned upside down for us in 2010 when we lost our daughter in an accidental drowning. Since then, we've documented our highs (life with all five of our kids) and our lows (struggles with grief) but amongst everthing we've experienced, we know as long as we hold on to one another we can get through anything that comes our way.
