Remember

It’s been a big week in our home.

On the 14th, Ledger turned 2 1/2. On the 17th, the twins turned five months old, and we also celebrated Preslee’s fifth Birthday. Nearly every twin mom tells me to document the first year, because it all becomes a blur due to many sleepless nights, and a crazy amount of work.

Life is busy, but certainly good.

Here’s to remembering…

(I set up a tripod to film, and used Window’s Movie Maker to edit)

What a cute video! That will be fun to watch for years to come. How did you edit it?
The first year really is a whirlwind. When I look back at pictures it instantly reminds me how hard it really was :)

When it's all said and done it's the memories that remain!! Before you know it they start school, start driving, start dating, graduate...and then all of the sudden they're married and having children of their own. You do a wonderful job keeping those memories alive and safe. As the digital world grew and documenting became much easier, I would keep a note pad and pen accessible at all times and wrote down and date all the funny things they said and did. At first I would scrapbook these sayings and memories, now I create professional books eg: Shutterfly, with pictures and silly things they did. Now that they are older they love to read them over and over again. Keep up the great work. I love reading, laughing and sharing tears with you as you document your life's journey and memories.

I liked the part where Ledger put his finger in the baby's mouth, and you yank it out...so relatable. : )

Hi, we're the Sullengers! Life turned upside down for us in 2010 when we lost our daughter in an accidental drowning. Since then, we've documented our highs (life with all five of our kids) and our lows (struggles with grief) but amongst everthing we've experienced, we know as long as we hold on to one another we can get through anything that comes our way.
