Mother’s Day 2013

 DSC_5735

As time passes by, it becomes more apparent that my kids make as big of an impact on me, as I do on them. Becoming a mom and a wife is truly the greatest gift I’ve received.

Happy Mother’s Day

to all of you,

and especially to these three women who do so much for our family.

I also know Sunday will be a painful day for many of you – a reminder of what is missing in your life. My only request for Mother's Day was to visit the cemetery as a family. I'm so grateful I have a little one to fill my arms again this year.

Sending my love to many of you.

Your little man is so cute, those blue eyes are going to drive all the girls crazy someday! You are such an inspiration to so many, even those of us who haven't gone through what you have...it's a reminder of how fragile life is.

I have another blog I read, she doesn't post much and her blog doesn't accept comments but she lost both of her children to a heart ailment that they weren't even aware they had. Their son collapsed and died while playing soccer, they later found out their daughter had the same heart issue and she died last year. Because of the hereditary factor, they just did IVF via an egg and sperm donor, if you would please pray for her...I am SO hoping that she is pregnant. Here's her link:

What a sweet and heartfelt post. I hope your Mother's day was everything special and then some. I also appreciate how you think of others and how their Mother's Day might bring them sadness. Life can be so challenging but the thing I've learned in such a hard way is that life is also so very very precious.

Hi, we're the Sullengers! Life turned upside down for us in 2010 when we lost our daughter in an accidental drowning. Since then, we've documented our highs (life with all five of our kids) and our lows (struggles with grief) but amongst everthing we've experienced, we know as long as we hold on to one another we can get through anything that comes our way.
