Missing this little guy

It's been a rough 12 days for this little guy... and his parents. He's been more demanding than a newborn, up every 2 hours at night. Dr. P. says he should be a whole new kid by Wednesday. Everything he's predicted has been right on, so we have our fingers crossed.

Saturday, Ledge jumped off the couch, squealed, giggled, played, and ate a bowl full of chile and cornbread. He ate an actual meal! What!? Without being forced? Hallelujah. Pat and I were so shocked by the sudden burst of energy, that we dropped everything and played with him for as long as he felt up to it. We were thrilled to see him smile.

Here's to hoping this little guy feels well enough to celebrate Halloween,
and he'll be running around just like he was the night before surgery.

Hi, we're the Sullengers! Life turned upside down for us in 2010 when we lost our daughter in an accidental drowning. Since then, we've documented our highs (life with all five of our kids) and our lows (struggles with grief) but amongst everthing we've experienced, we know as long as we hold on to one another we can get through anything that comes our way.
